As part of the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business MBA Program, students participate in a Capstone course, designed to integrate the learnings of the entire business school curriculum. Students partner with a local nonprofit, conduct an organizational assessment, and then deliver recommendations and solutions based on the outlined goals.
As a student in the MBA Program, Forte’s Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Reilly Gallagher, and her Capstone project group, worked with the Shining Stars Foundation, a nonprofit based in Winter Park and Aspen, Colorado. Its mission is to transform lives through year-round, outdoor recreational and social programs for children and their families challenged with pediatric cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. The programs are provided at no cost to the child or their family. Shining Stars aims to provide new hope for the future for these children.
As part of the Marketing element of the Capstone project, Forte was honored to do an in-kind brand refresh for the Shining Stars, led by Lead Designer, Jenna Holcomb. The opportunity to collaborate with the Shining Stars Foundation left a lasting impression on the Forte team; it was an experience we will always remember and wish the Shining Stars Foundation and all its “stars” continued hope and “smiles.”
